Standard & Wavy LE: 38 layers of 7.5oz volan
The wavy leading edge foil breaks up the fin body along the length of the leading edge into alternating foil profiles. This allows for a fin to have similar foil geometry to the chambered version in a more standard thickness fin. Water is also organized within these tubercles to help promote laminar flow as it is directed and released off the trailing edge. Turns can be initiated with ease as well due to the similar way the alternating foil faces each opposing rail, like on a twin fin.
